The accommodation is based on Cuban hotels, all selected for a spectacular view or a specific setting and atmosphere. In Trinidad you stay in the best beach resort there is: Trinidad Hotel Brisas del Mar with lots of activities for the children. If you prefer to stay in carefully selected "casas particulares" (private homes of Cuban families) and wish to have an interesting mixture of both hotels & private houses, we can also arrange all your reservations.

Sample Itinerary
Family, Kids & Teens travel holiday West Cuba, 17 days with rental car (nb: holidays by bus are arranged too)

Day 1: Arrival Havana, meeting of host, transfer in to Hotel Sevilla (nice, colonial boutique hotel in Old Havana with swimming pool)

Day 2: Walking tour of 3 hours special for children through the old city with a local guide, and a 2 hour tour in American classical cabriolet through Havana including a visit to the Plaza de Revolucion, best icecreams of Havana in Coppelia, photo shooting by the children at beautiful places with big fig trees or overlooking the Atlantic ocean with the cars on the background, can be designed as the children like.

Evening excursion to fort of Havana for ritual of firing of canon (canoņazo) over the bay of Havana at 21:00 hrs, with transfers by taxi.

Day 3: Pick up of rental car with your host. Drive to Viņales. Hotel Ermita with a beautiful,view over the valley & swimming. Free afternoon for play & relaxation.

Day 4: Small hike of 3 to 4 hours with local private guide through the valley, visit farmer families and see something of the tabaco culture. In the afternoon time to bicycle or to visit the most beautiful cave of Cuba open for public, Cueva San Thomas. Is an adventurous walk through the cave, lovely for the children.

Day 5: Early morning departure to arrive on time for boat at 10:00 hrs to the tropical island Cayo Levisa. Arrival on island, check in and beachtime.

Day 6 & 7:Beachlife, strolling over the island, snorkeling, sea kayaking and diving at Cayo Levisa. Salsa & Cuban rhytm classes in the afternoon.

Day 8:Departure to mainland in the morning. Drive to the tropical surroundings of Soroa, hotel Soroa with swimming pool.

Day 9: Free day Soroa for visiting orchid garden, swim under the waterfall & walk up to the mirador.

Day 10: Full day private guided walk, original off the beaten path through the tropical hills around Soroa, with lunch included at a farmers house.

Day 11: Drive to Trinidad over Pigs Bay, with a stop to swim & snorkel in the bay and the Fishes cave. You stay in all inclusive beach resort Trinidad Brisas del Mar, right at the beach Ancon.

Day 12: Free day to enjoy swimming & snorkeling on the beach of Ancon and activities for the children.

Day 13: Mountain excursion Sierra Escambray, to hacienda Gallega with the Tarzan waterprogram. You drive to Topes Collantes and pick your private guide up in the mountains. Depart by truck from Topes further into mountains to hacienda Gallega. Walk of 1-2 hours to a high waterfall from where the children start descending with your private guide along the river through tropical surroundings by swimming, gliding and walking up to the deer lagoon in about one hour. Afterwards walk back in one hour to the hacienda where a lunch will be waiting for all of you. And in midday back to Trinidad again, first by truck to Topes Collantes, then by our own car to Trinidad.

Day 14: Full day Catamaran excursion to tropical island Cayo LEGUANO with huge leguanos and tree rodents, including snorkeling along coral reef, beachlife, time for exploration island with mangrove forest and fish lunch. An easy day for complete relaxation for the parents, at least on the boat !

Day 15: Drive to Valle Ingenios with visit to slave bell tower Iznaga, followed by horseriding at a remote countryside hacienda for 1-4 hrs, including lunch. They have smaller and tame mules for the children. You can walk or ride or both. Free afternoon at beach.

Day 16: Travel back to Havana. Hotel Sevilla (nice, colonial boutique hotel in Old Havana with swimming pool).

Day 17: Free morning Havana. Time to visit cigar factory Partagas, see the periscope of Camera Obscura or go shopping for souvenirs on handicraft market. Transfer out for international flight.
