We like to introduce you in this travel to the fascinating Northwest of Argentina. The Northwest is for us the most interesting of Argentina and still vibrates an indigenous Soul. Few people from outside Argentina consider the possibility to go on a holiday in the Northwest. We will guide you to a few interesting and magical places in the Northwest, but besides that, we would like to invite you on a trekking through an unknown and hidden valley. To a valley with fabulous eroded rock formations and fascinating canyons, with beautiful colours, giant cactusses and above all with a silence, a remoteness and a pureness that is nowadays difficult to meet...

But you will see that it still exists.
When we were introduced here, we could not find the name of the valley on the map or on internet and wondered where we were brought to. Later it turned out that the true name was changed in a new invented name in the Inca dialect. And we would like to preserve this valley in this way, to leave away the real or newly invented names on this website, in order to keep this valley as it is: pure and unexplored.

In this desolated region, there are only a few local families who nowadays still try to make a living. We will meet the people of the fincas where we camp, experience their kindness and hospitality, and see how they live. It is maybe hard to imagine for a country as Argentina, but the post & priest here still goes by horse. Maybe some local schools will have a radio working on solar energy, but that is all. You can only come here by horse or on foot. And so we will come here by walking. We walk through valleys and canyons and climb over passes.Your luggage will be carried by a caravan of mules and horses, guided by local gauchos, and you have to carry only the things you need during the day.

This travel is designed to bring us in contact with pure nature. This travel is for people who like to take a break from the civilised world and reconnect with themselves and get new inspiration.
