A long magical journey which takes you from Buenos Aires, through Northwest Argentina into the Chilean Atacama desert, Bolivian Altiplano and high Cordillera of the Andes to your final destination in La Paz in Bolivia. A possible itinerary from Salta to Cusco...
Start in Buenos Aires / Tourkayak excursion in the largest delta of the world, Tigre / Flight to Salta in Nortwest Argentina / Excursion and hiking in amazing Calchaquies valley for several days / Transfer Salta to Atacama desert by bus / Several days in Atacama desert, with excursions to Tati geysers, volcanoes and canyons; hiking in magnificent landscape / Transfer San Pedro de Atacama to Altiplano South Bolivia by 4 wheeldrive, excursions to geysers and thermal waters / 2 days Uyunyi saltplain; visit Isla de Pescador; ascend Thunupa volcano; accomodation with local people in small village / Transfer to La Paz by train & bus / 3-11 days Trekking High Cordillera Bolivia with options for different trails / La Paz

The trip may end in La Paz, or continue into Peru. From la Paz to Copacabana, Titicaca lake, Isla del Sol, Isla de la Luna, Puno, Taquile & Amantani islands, to Cusco, Machu Picchu, Inca-Lares trail, Urubamba valley & surroundings. From here you can travel to the rainforest of Manu, return to la Paz or travel from Cusco to Lima for your connecting international flight.
